A new report highlights the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to assist hackers in breaking passwords, increasing the need for strong and secure password practices. The report indicates that AI could potentially think of possible passwords for an individual based on their life, interests, and preferences. The machine learning algorithm used by the researchers was trained on a database containing several hundred million passwords, making it highly effective at generating potential passwords.

Despite this alarming revelation, there are still measures that individuals can take to secure their passwords. The report suggests that passwords with more than ten characters that blend lowercase, uppercase, numerals, and special characters can provide a high level of security and make it more difficult for hackers to access sensitive information. It’s also recommended to use unique and complex passwords for different accounts, and enable two-factor authentication whenever possible.

As technology continues to evolve, it’s important for individuals and organizations to remain vigilant and proactive in securing their data and online presence.
